Biographical Information: Billy, as he was known, was born on 05 June 1922 in Darlington, County Durham. He is known to have had a sister named Annie. He was trained at H.M.S. Collingwood prior to joining the crew of Hood. He was 18 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
