Biographical Information: William was born on 26 August 1908 in Hebburn, County Durham. He and his wife lived at Harvey Street, Hebburn. Before the war he was a member of the Jarrow St John ambulance brigade. He is believed to have joined the Navy in late 1940.

William was 32 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
