Biographical Information: "Roy", as he was known to his family and friends, was born 02 June 1916 near Petersfield, Hampshire. He was the youngest of 8 children to Henry and Bessie Cresswell. Sadly, his father died shortly before his birth. He married Margaret Cresswell on 18 January 1941 in Greenock, Scotland. She eventually settled in Hurstpierpoint, Sussex. He was 24 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
