Biographical Information: George was a native of Newfoundland. He was born in Burin, Newfoundland on 18 August 1918. He was a member of the Newfoundland Overseas Forestry Unit (NOFU No. 0007) and was later transferred to the Royal Navy.
Hood is believed to have been his only ship. He was the brother of
Arthur Brewer, who was also lost in the sinking of
Hood. George was 22 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
