Biographical Information: Charles was born on 30 August 1898 in Claines, Worcestershire to parents John and Kate Bishop. The family moved into Worcester after the start of the First World War. He served as a fireman prior to joining the Royal Navy on 04 February 1918. He went on to serve in a number of ships and establishments to include Victory, Hercules, Tiger, Fisguard, Excellent, Renown and of course Hood.
Charles was the husband of Margaret Bishop, of Portsmouth. He was the father of John, Robert and Margaret. Charles was 42 years old at the time of his loss. We have no additional information.
